This is one of the better ads I've seen. I hope everybody I know is voting no on Prop 8, and if they're voting yes, well, then they're pretty stupid and should move to the mid-west already. Anybody who votes 'yes' needs to replace the words "same sex" and "gay" with "interracial" and "black" -- then see just how hateful they really are.
I just purchased seat belts for my truck.
True story! I can no longer say "oh, sorry -- I can't drive because I only have one seat belt". I gotta admit, it's been nice to not have to drive anywhere for the last 9 months, but I was starting to feel a slight twinge of guilt. Seat Belts are about $180 per side from Toyota, so I went with the ol' eBay belts for $100 a pair! They're out of a 1981 Chevy Chevette, but from what I've heard, those are some great belts! The nylon webbing still has a few more "short stops" left in 'em.
You'll be fine! Just get in the truck!
| • | 1/4 cup bottled reduced-fat creamy Italian salad dressing | |
| • | 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning, crushed | |
| • | 6 hard-cooked eggs, chopped | |
| • | 1/4 cup sliced green onions with tops | |
| • | 1/4 cup minced pepperoni | |
| • | 6 plain ice cream cones | |
| • | Chopped mushrooms, green peppers, black olives as desired | |
| • | 3/4 cup pizza sauce | |
| • | 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese |
In medium bowl, stir together dressing and seasoning. Stir in eggs, onions and pepperoni. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
To serve, scoop about 1/3 cup of the mixture into each cone. Top with about 2 tablespoons pizza sauce and mushrooms, peppers and olives as desired. Sprinkle each with about 1 teaspoon cheese.
I actually bought a Dell. I feel like Glenn now (you know, cuz Glenn loves Dell!)
I got such a good deal that I couldn't pass it up. $707 with my discount, and I had a $100 coupon on top of that. I'll do the algebra for you -- that's $607 for a fairly nice computer. I used the $100 savings to buy a graphics card. it's not the best card, but it's very good. 1gb of video memory on it even :)
It's a Quad Core Q6600 with 6 gigs of memory and a big fat harddrive. AND the best part is I don't have to plug in all my different card readers anymore cuz they're built into the front!
Oh, and it's oh-so quiet too. Not like my old one that doubled as a womb sound emulator.
